This Week's Free Resources

A few resources for those of us who are gluttons for information and who like new ideas. Below is a list of idea generators,  life organizers, and just good stuff to consider. I remain:

Consumed by the Call,

Any time Seth Godin makes something available I grab it. This week its his new e-book Tales of the Revolution: True Stories of People who are Poking the Box and Making a Difference. This is a follow up to his last full length book, and almost free deal of the day (Wednesday) for only $1.49!  Poke the Box.

I am very close to trading in my three-year-old, screen cracked Blackberry for an I-phone so I downloaded this free e-book for my Kindle, A Beginner's Guide to Using Your IPhone as a Business Productivity Tool. Not sure this will justify buying an IPhone to my wife, but its worth a shot!

One of the blogs I follow regularly is Michael Hyatt. This former CEO turned communication and leadership guru produces an amazing amount of great leadership content. My favorite is Michael Hyatt's awesome 90 page e-book, Creating Your Personal Life Plan is a great way to prepare for the busyness that comes with school starting back and the increasing numbers of demands upon your schedule. He helps you make a plan so you will know what to say "no" to so you can say "yes" to what really matters.

In honor of the upcoming 9/11 anniversary, on Sept. 1, 2011 Amazon will make the Kindle version of Strength for Service a free download, or you go here and get it now. This devotional book, first printed during WWII has been re-edited and added to so that it includes a year's devotions and devotions for special days and holidays.

The Nines is an online leadership conference, sponsored by Leadership Network. The Nines is a nine-hour overloaded, power-packed interactive online conference where solid, in the field leaders share their wisdom. Even if you can only plug in for an hour its worth "FREE!" You can buy the set of notes if you would like.
