Creating Space for Good Ideas...

This video feature author Steven Johnson discusses how good ideas come over time and develop first as a series of "hunches" that collide and become a great idea. Rarely does an idea come suddenly in a moment of illumination without having first spent years, sometimes decades, as a hunch. The creation of spaces, literal and technological, that allow the coming together and sharing of ideas is essential for them to mature. It reminds me of the Einstein quote, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." Let's create places, maybe "third places" where we can gather, grow, and give our ideas away to change the world. I remain:
