About Me

My Photo
Marty Cauley
Marty is currently serving lead pastor for St. Paul UMC. He understands his divine calling is to lead an innovative, arts empowered, missional community. Marty has also spent time helping struggling churches reach their potential and coaching pastors on how to reach their community. Prior to his current appointment in Rocky Mount, NC he served as Director of Ministries for Young People at Lake Junaluska where he developed retreat experiences that connect youth and young adults to God.

Marty has spent almost twenty years serving The United Methodist Church. His focus continues to be on re-igniting and re-developing existing congregations. The churches he served grew exponentially during his tenure and became more sensitive to the needs of the communities that surrounded them. The growth in these congregations was primarily among people 13-30 years of age. Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville grew to become the youngest church in the N.C. Conference in average age due to a growing youth program and outreach to young military and their families.
